Why HarnessedMind exists
Many children find maths overwhelming - not because they can't do it, but because attention, working memory, or processing speed make the traditional classroom approach a poor fit. HarnessedMind was built to give these learners a way to succeed by teaching smarter, not harder.
Every session works toward four things: making maths accessible, making learning engaging, making progress visible, and making confidence real.
The approach
Students earn points, complete challenges, and unlock rewards as they go.
ADHD-friendly pacing that keeps sessions engaging without overload.
Progress becomes visible in the moment, so it stays motivating.
Diagrams and colour-coding turn abstract concepts into something concrete.
Certainty comes before difficulty, so students trust their own progress.
Who I am
I hold a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics) from UNSW and have spent years tutoring students from Kindergarten through Year 12.
I specialise in helping children with ADHD, anxiety, and learning differences. HarnessedMind is built around structure, clarity, and encouragement - the things ADHD learners need most. I hold a current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance for child‑related work.
